JUNAT - A short film shot on Nikon ZR JUNAT is a film about a slightly strange but kind character who struggles with intense social anxiety, yet craves connection. I’ve been inspired recently by wacky surrealist art and how it asks us to reflect on our subconscious minds - and maybe have a little silly fun. In our ever-advancing society, we increasingly can feel more isolated and more lonely than ever. So for this film, I wanted to explore how that fear of being perceived, of the outside world, or of the “other”, manifests visually through one character and their experience trying to leave their home. & that’s a wrap on my Nikon ZR test shoots! I’m genuinely impressed by this camera’s capabilities. Stay tuned for my full behind-the-scenes video where I’ll explore the film and go in-depth on my experience using the camera!
