Fatigue is not just sleepiness! I have a very mild form of CFS/ME, and have had it since I was 13. It makes basic activities like doing schoolwork (requires a lot of focus)- very difficult. For me, if I do too much schoolwork in a day, the next day I have brain fog, and muscle aches. I believe I acquired it from an EB infection or SARS long ago, but my doctors cant pinpoint it due to my autoimmune issues. It is so important to know the difference between just regular sleepiness and fatigue, because people with severe CFS/ME are bed and hospital bound. People with severe CFS/ME can be “absent” from society- because lights and noise are just too painful and cause too much fatigue. There is so much that goes into a name, and I think Chronic Fatigue just doesn’t capture it enough. #invisibledisability #chronicfatiguesyndrome #cfsme
