Self-Isolation Self Portrait Series (3): ⁣ ⁣ I took a walk this morning for the first time in what feels like centuries. The spring air was crisp as I walked past countless closed businesses and masked faces. The sun was shining bright. It’s rays felt warm on my face... a feeling I find myself appreciating more these days. A familiar feeling... one I too often took for granted as I look back on the pre- quarantine times. ⁣ ⁣ And though I have moments of darkness, I am thankful for these glimmers of light. Small reminders that the simplest things in life, like the warmth of the sun on your skin or the soft embrace of a loved one, are the things that should be cherished the most. ⁣ ⁣ Wherever you are tonight, show yourself some kindness. None of this is easy. Take a breath. Let it all go. This too shall pass.
