I saw three moose this past weekend as I was floating with one of my children on the river. I’ve been studying depth psychology and dream symbolism in some coursework right now. Diving into animal symbolism brought up curiosity around the moose that keeps showing up every time I float. The moose is full of surprises. Although it may appear an ungainly creature, it is surprisingly clever and agile. It can move through almost any environment at great speed and without being seen. This is a symbol that is about breakthroughs.
