The shadow of oppression is one of the greatest dilemmas since the beginning of time. Silence is the greatest tool of the oppressor. 262 days ago I embarked on a journey to dive deep into my own suffering, in hopes of finding more healing from the trauma I have experienced. I also kicked off a year long program studying with Gabor Mate in Compassionate Inquiry. In diving in, I sought to understand and challenge every construct that was a systemic part of my upbringing on an intimate level in connection to coming home to myself. This last weekend I spent time in another healing container in plant medicine with a trauma informed facilitator to continue this path of understanding.
