There is this fear of the unknown that many people can’t grasp on so they avoid it at all costs. When in essence - we witness death, dying and rebirth on a daily basis. Every cellular process has a cycle of life. It’s likely that there’s going to be a lot of conversations about dying and death here. I was so programmed to fear death both in my family of origin and in high demand religion regarding salvation. I’m a firm believer that in order to live, one will likely experience a thousand deaths as a result of growth that is happening in their own life. As we grow we have an opportunity to say goodbye to old versions of ourselves. In that process there is grief, longing, regret, remorse, excitement, hope as one lays to rest a part of ourself that we have grown beyond. While we are the sum of all parts within us, I believe we shouldn’t “let go” of our less desirable parts.
