I spent less than 20 hours in Canada to attend my first Toronto International Film Festival to see my friend’s dream come true. It was magically, exhilarating watching @dewaynekperkins star in a movie movie that he wrote and co-produced with @tracyyoliver & Director @timkstory I have watched many versions of The Blackening from its live sketch inception and I was elated to be in the film sketched that Dewayne wrote for @3peatcomedy where we went viral with @comedycentral. Y’all remember. It’s the horror comedy sketch based on what happens when every character in a horror movie is Black. It’s a movie movie now y’all! I watched Dewayne work his ass off and the cast was amazing! I can’t wait for y’all to see it and love it like I did.
