The tour came through our home state this past weekend, an annual stop that began 82 years ago.  Originally dubbed the “Greater Greensboro Open,” past winners of the @wyndhamchamp include the likes of Sam Snead (who won it a whopping 8 times), Ben Hogan, Seve, Chi-Chi, and Sergio.  Breaking down barriers, in 1961 Charlie Sifford became the first African American to play in a PGA event in the South, leading after the first round and ultimately tied for fourth.   Going low, Brandt Snedeker shot a blistering 59 back in 2018, carding a 27 on the back 9 after sinking a 20 footer on 18. .
