Can you relate to this? My fear of looking stupid is literally holding me back 😊 . For context, I was not always scared of using my voice or being seen — but, being new to my field in marketing and also to corporate America has left me feeling very much like a beginner . And with that lack of experience has come this fear of using my voice . I am working through this with the help of an executive coach/ career coach ( offered by my job) . I am also making some improvements to how I show up at work such as: 1. Ask questions instead of make statements when unsure about something 2. Prep for meetings and presentations not just by owning your slides but also also knowing your audience 3. Get better at framing —I always forget to frame things up for my audience 4. Prepare for every presentation like my life depends on it —- it doesn’t but it’s always better to over prepare 5.
