I recently visited thegoodgoodcollective — a Latine, Black, and Indigenous, culture-centered, artist-led, kids-first nonprofit in Bushwick creating space for music, dance, theater, visual arts, and brain health through bsanyc 🎭🎨🧠 I shared my unfiltered self-love and confidence journey with the young girls there — from growing up feeling like an outsider, to navigating an unsafe home environment, to becoming the 2025 Puerto Rican Cultural Pageant Queen 👑🇵🇷 thebxpuertoricanparade We spoke openly about culture, identity, and the obstacles I’ve had to overcome. I had a candid conversation with them about the negativity and bullying I received after being crowned, and why building unshakable confidence matters, so the crown we wear on our heads never falls, as long as we walk through this world with our heads held high👑✨⭐️ Life has brought me full circle.
