The Fashion Portion of the 39th Annual thebxpuertoricanparade Cultural Pageant 🇵🇷took place this past Saturday. On that day in history- March 22, 1873, the Spanish National Assembly finally abolished slavery in Puerto Rico.
🏆🥇 I placed first in the Señorita category representing my grandmother’s hometown Guanica with my heart. I could feel her presence beaming with pride as radiantly as I was.
