Honored to have placed first in the Señorita/Damas catagory representing Guanica in the 2025 39th Annual Bronx Puerto Rican Day Pageant @thebxpuertoricanparade 🇵🇷🥇 Guanica is the hometown of my grandmother on my mom’s side who passed away when she was 18 years old. I never had the opportunity to know her or meet her but have learned about her through her legacy. Her vibrant resilience lives through me and it is a responsibility I carry to ensure we persevere our rich culture and history as a proud Nuyorican. I said YES to this experience to remember who I am and all those who came before me.
