Had the honor to mentoring the brilliant young girls on developing self-confidence and having authentic conversations on the journey to loving yourself and being transparent about what that entails. Those who know me from the merely off of what I visually share across my social media, will assume that content creation is my greatest passion. Not at all. It is however, an outlet of self expression and a powerful tool I’ve leveraged to my advantage to successfully create opportunities for myself that otherwise wouldn’t never been possible without advocating for myself in the curation of building a personal brand from the ground up. I did not have the luxury or privilege to receive guidance, mentorship or have a healthy support system where I felt validated, celebrated or recognized for who I am.
