Ingredients • 150g unsalted butter, softened • 150g caster sugar • 1 medium egg • 1 tsp vanilla extract • 330g plain flour • ¼ tsp baking powder • 200g icing sugar • 3-4 tablespoons water • Food colouring (as desired) Method 1. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and caster sugar until light and fluffy. 2. Next, beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined. 3. Then add the flour and baking powder, and mix until a dough forms. 4. Wrap the dough cling film, and chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. 5. Now, while you wait, prepare the icing for decorating. 6. In a medium bowl, combine the icing sugar with 3-4 tablespoons of water. Stir until you achieve a thick but pipeable consistency. 7.
