I know it’s still technically summer ☀️ …but once the kids went back to school 📚 mid-August, we slipped back into the busy rhythm of juggling work, school, and many extracurricular commitments. August marked some big milestones: we celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary (camping at crystal cove), and Jason’s 50th birthday (yes, he’s in scrubs blowing out candles—because he was working and on call 🙃 #doctorlife). We also fit in a couple of trips. We went to Canada to visit Jason’s family (road-tripping from Calgary to Saskatoon with stops in Drumheller + Dinosaur Provincial Park 🦕, celebrated his birthday with extended family luncheon). I wrapped the month with a special mom + sons weekend in SF. I’ll share more trip details soon 🌉.
