“Church hurt is real. But Jesus didn’t fail you. People did. Don’t confuse the two.” This statement stopped me in my tracks on threads and I knew it was a conversation that needed to be had for us church girls. So much to unpack! Last weekend, I had the honor to lead the “Scars & Sanctuaries” panel at thisisfreshoil conference by ladysharese and it was everythinggg! We discussed everything from hurt, conflict resolution, relationship reconciliation in the church and ministry space. From hugging and meeting some of my favorite Christian therapists in real life, to the worship and rich conversations that truly fed my spirit..
