What can you do to help? Today was a reminder that small gestures matter. A man in my plaza offered me $20 for helping him — someone who carries everything he owns in a shopping cart, yet still wanted to give from his heart. At first I only remembered the candy bar I bought him, then later remembered I had also helped him when the wind blew his cart into the street. It made me think… kindness is never small to the person receiving it. You never know what someone will remember.
