✈️ Crossed the country and went back to my college roots for Harvard Black Alumni Weekend and the harvardblkalum team outdid themselves! From being able to give Dr. Claudine Gay her flowers 💐, to seeing Tanya G - the woman who really made me feel like this campus could be for me when I came to visit my junior year of HS, to catching up and seeing so many friends that have inspired me over the last ~20 years, to my mandatory stop Noch’s 🍕- it was a reminder to always remember to take a space, to use our voices, to activate self care, and to honor the beauty, strength, intelligence and resilience of our community. Also major shout out to my classmate jameshairston openai who did an incredible job answering tough questions about the future of AI.
