i can’t deny that I haven’t taken a bit of downtime - especially with regards to working at the same intensity as I was when my PhD was still in the works. But at the same time I’ve started working on various projects - be it picking back up on research assistant projects, developing papers from my PhD project, and pursuing my own ideas - especially in terms of a broader writing career. These are undeniably ‘shorter’ projects and I guess, don’t really have a solid end goal as such which was the case for my PhD. But they’re, in a way, giving me room to enjoy the process - which was something that got lost in the way during my PhD. #phd #postphd #academia #scholar #gradlife
