In 1989, a small group of Black employees founded our first Employee Resource Group (ERG), Black at Microsoft (BAM). What began as a space for Black employees to connect, support one another, and grow has become a cornerstone for career development, mentoring, and networking with over 6,000 members and allies. BAM’s impact extends across Microsoft and beyond, leading the way for over 20 ERGs and Communities to connect and thrive. Inclusion enables us to fulfill our mission to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more.
