Solid game yesterday. Every game I watch I am in awe of how much work our defense does, especially the outside backs running up and down the field the whole game and both of our center backs being able to cover for them. The Sounders started the game without Dempsey, and we started the game without Martinez (injury), Almiron, and Carmona. We started the game out pretty poorly playing sloppy passes and giving them a couple great opportunities but after that we started to string together some great play. The game was very exciting with lots of chances but neither team was able to capitalize. I do think we could've won that game but Seattle also had many chances. Overall, a very solid game for us and this proves that we aren't a joke for the people who already didn't believe it. We were able to tie against an extremely strong side with Alimiron and Carmona coming off international break and without Martinez.
