How I keep my hand-written notes and scribbles organised as a PhD student✨ I know a lot of people think that writing by hand is inefficient in our digital world but there is something about it (well, the embodied nature of it I guess) which helps me think a lot better. Especially when I was just starting out, trying to make connections in the literature, and figuring out my research topic, I used to make handwritten notes all the time. Even now, outline sketches for all my writing work, supervision meeting notes, and even reviewing drafts, I do all this work by hand.
