Philosophy is literally exercise for your brain and its super useful for developing critical thinking and analytical skills. If you wanna start your philosophy journey but don’t know where to start, here are a couple of recs: 🎓The Problems of Philosophy by Bertrand Russell: Honestly one of the easiest philosophy books written despite Russell himself being a logician. He introduces you to ideas from the likes of Decartse, Kant, Plato in an accessible manner, which will allow you to pretty easily grasp some of the most basic philosophical ideas. Just a note though, he doesn’t present these ideas chronologically but I don’t disagree with his presentation cuz I’m not too convinced that you need to approach philosophy chronologically for understanding it. Once you’ve warmed up to some basic philosophical ideas with Russell’s book, pick certain threads or philosophical ideas that you enjoyed and explore them further.
