Someone recently asked how I felt about Tracee Ellis Ross as a solo traveler.
And honestly… I didn’t know how to answer.
At first, I wanted more.
More movement, more adventure, more of the doing we often associate with travel.
But maybe the quiet was the lesson.
Maybe the most radical thing she showed us is that travel can also mean stillness.
That rest is reason enough to go.
I’ve spent years in motion, always chasing the next thing, the next place.
But Santorini reminded me that the most luxurious thing I can give myself isn’t a new stamp,
It’s permission to slow down.
To meander.
To move without urgency.
To never leave the hotel… and still feel full.
This is what I want for all of us.
