There’s a tiny island in the Irish Sea, population 85,000, lowest crime rate in the British Isles, where entrepreneurs can get a business visa, build a company, pay zero NHS surcharge, and end up with British citizenship.
And almost nobody talks about it.
It’s called the Isle of Man. It’s a Crown Dependency, which means residents hold British nationality. Their Innovator Visa is endorsed by one body: the Government’s own Department for Enterprise. No endorsement fees. Their job is literally to bring entrepreneurs in.
You invest £50,000, get an initial 3-year visa, and receive check-in support every 6 months. After 3 years, if your business is trading, your investment is in, and you’ve created at least 3 full-time permanent jobs on the island, you can apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain. Citizenship follows.
Don’t have £50,000 yet? There’s also a Start-Up Visa with no investment requirement to get you started, then you switch onto the Innovator route.
