Accor is making a very clear move in luxury hospitality,
and it’s not about launching another traditional brand.
They’ve introduced Emblems, their independent luxury collection, starting with Lucknam Park - a 500-acre English estate.
And alongside it, they’ve launched Independents: a platform for standalone hotels that want global reach without losing their identity.
These two moves are connected.
Because every major hotel group has realised the same thing:
Guests don’t want brands anymore.
They want character.
Travellers want the soul of an independent hotel.
