Kate Bush made a career out of disappearing. Both PinkPantheress (@😘🙈☺️) and @clairo keep her close as a reference point. In their conversation for Interview Magazine, the two artists found common ground on mystique—what it costs, what it protects, and why it's worth preserving. "I never wanted to show my face because I didn't want it to affect how my music was received," PinkPantheress says. "Not even because of pretty privilege. It was more like, 'What if they don't like how I look? What if they think it doesn't match up with what they're listening to?'" Kate Bush is the clear example—a “hero” for Clairo and an “inspo” for Pink. She’s an artist who charted, stepped back, and became a legend anyway. "If you're a private person but you have this look or brand, you can hide behind it and find protection and be confident," Clairo offers. "Sometimes I value mystique over everything else,” PinkPantheress adds. __ Interview by Clairo for @Interview Magazine Photos (Pink) by Sim...
