This semester, students in the #BULaw Criminal Law Clinic have been helping to advance a Massachusetts bill that would prevent civil arrest — including immigration arrests — in and around state courthouses. The bill passed the MA House in March and students provided testimony for submission to the Senate. On April 7, Jason Weiss (’27) testified at the Massachusetts State House.
