“They'd have me go out and do anything to get the money, no matter what the risk. They don't care if I got a violation or went to jail, whatever, for any reason. The next day, they'd have another driver in that truck and keep on going,” says Daniel Sanchez, who drove for Super Ego under a lease-to-own contract. Sanchez had been driving commercial trucks for eight years when he was recruited by the company in 2025. “They promise you the world. They say you can make $8,000 to $10,000 to $12,000 a week,” he says. Sanchez says the company didn’t live up to those promises. Super Ego Holdings denies any wrongdoing. Lawyers for Super Ego Holding said it's a leasing company, not a trucking firm, and that it is not responsible for the actions of affiliated carriers and drivers. But according to 60 Minutes’ investigation and court documents, that’s not the whole story.
