👉🏼 The CometChip technology as a promising tool for the analysis of DNA repair capacity in clinical samples from cancer patients
A promising new tool, the CometChip technology (CCT) (R&D Systems) was developed to study DNA damage during the last decade. The CCT is a high throughput technology that allows, due to its 96-well format, for the assessment of a large number of samples simultaneously with excellent reproducibility. It provides a phenotypic measure of DRC levels. Dr. Matta’s presentation will focus on the use of the CCT for the first time to measure DRC levels in clinical samples, specifically from prostate cancer and Lynch Syndrome patients and controls from Puerto Rico.
