Spring is well underway, and flowers are blooming. It’s a time of life and rebirth; a time of joy and singing. Likewise in light of Christ’s resurrection, our Lord, our beloved, calls us to leave the world and the flesh and come into fellowship with Him, free from sin and death. This Gospel warms that which was cold, makes that fruitful which before was dead and barren; when it comes to any place it puts a beauty and glory upon that place and furnishes occasion for joy.
