This year’s spring mainstage show is the classic tale of Romeo and Juliet, but with a new twist. The three-part production by St. Ambrose University Theatre is performed entirely with shadow puppets. Scene by scene, actors recorded their lines that were later be edited by director Daniel Rairdin-Hale '04 and sound engineer, Aaron Randolph III '12. Art professor Joseph Lappie designed the puppets for the production which were then constructed by Aaron Hook '05. Both the students, faculty and alumni involved said this was an experience like no other and a great opportunity for the actors and crew to expand their theatrical skills.
