🌟 Student Spotlight on Rebekah Staton! 🌟 . Rebekah is a graduate student majoring in East Asian Art History with a research focus on Jōmon and Yayoi periods, and Japanese Buddhist Sculpture. . This past summer Rebekah traveled to Japan on a cetstudyabroad program! Her favorite experience was visiting the Sanjūsangendō and Kōfukuji Buddhist temples. “It’s amazing to seeing sculptures I studied in real-life,” says Rebekah. . Back on the KU campus, Rebekah’s favorite East Asia course has been Japanese Buddhist Sculpture taught by Dr. Sherry Fowler! .
