On July 22, 2018, a homeless white man attacked Nia Wilson and her two sisters with a knife at an Oakland transit station. Her sisters survived, but Nia did not. She was somebody's child, sister, cousin, niece, friend, and so much more. Nia was killed at only 18 years old like too many other Black and Brown children in this country.
