Wireless Festival has been cancelled after the government stopped headline act Kanye West entering the UK.
The organisers said: "The Home Office has withdrawn Ye's ETA [permission to enter], denying him entry into the United Kingdom. As a result, Wireless Festival is cancelled and refunds will be issued to all ticket-holders”.
The Home Office made its decision on the grounds that his presence would not be conducive to the public good.
In recent years, West has caused outrage with a string of antisemitic, racist and pro-Nazi comments.
This morning, he offered to meet the Jewish community in the UK, saying: "I'll have to show change through my actions."
