The Democratic Party has to come to the realization that Trump’s racism strategy isn’t just appealing to the GOP’s base, it’s appealing to some folks that lean slightly more progressive. If you continue to call this a distraction and not a fundamental issue that gets to the very heart of this country’s establishment, we have a problem. It’s time to address it.
