#YGB: At 27 years old Georgetown Alumni, Ryan Wilson and TK Petersen, wanted to create a social & co-working space post grad with similar environments they had on campus. “The Gathering Spot” is a private Black-owned membership club in Atlanta, Georgia that houses & connects entrepreneurs, creators, artists and executives. Creating such a space cuts down leasing costs for small businesses and can open a wider opportunity for others to network easily. The club has hosted entertainers, public figures, and even companies such as Netflix, Google, & Coca-Cola. This year, it’s expected to expand its location to the DC area as well as the West coast!
