On a quest to improve the status of healthcare in the United States, scientist and activist Jordan Blok is leading the way. Blok is a trans, nonbinary biochemist and research administrator dedicated to providing equitable, sufficient health information to QTPOC (queer trans people of color). STEM fields are overwhelmingly white and cis, so there is so much room for inclusivity. Jordan continues to provide support to scientific journals that uplift and promote better health outcomes for people of color and folks who identity as Queer everyday. Thank you, Jordan!
