Rasheen Aldridge Jr. serves as committeeman for the 5th Ward of St. Louis. In 2016, he became the youngest elected official in St. Louis history at 22 years old. Rasheen was also the youngest member appointed to the Ferguson Commission after the murder of Michael Brown. In 2014, he served on President Obama’s Task Force on 21st Century Policing. Although a member of city council, he doesn’t prefer the term “politician” and instead, proudly identifies as a Community Activist and Organizer. Thank you Rasheen for your service and commitment to the culture! Know a young, gifted, and Black changemaker?
