I feel like I’ve failed the ancestors. I believe their hearts break with anguish when they see how far we’ve yet to come. Whether police violence, economic disparity, or some other kind of injustice (of which there are many), we ARE NOT FREE. I pray we use this day and everyday going forward to carefully strategize to ensure our true liberation.
