The House of Representatives has provided the first optimistic step towards a return to a skills-based test for air traffic controllers. They are currently working to overturn the Obama administration’s diversity policy for the FAA that focused on using a biographical assessment for air traffic controllers. MSLF has been working with approximately 1,000 air traffic controllers who were denied by the FAA as a result of the discriminatory policy in a class action lawsuit known as Brigida. You should be hired based on your skillset, not a biographical assessment or the color of your skin.
