Recently published in The Wall Street Journal. Backstory: I’m often asked to name a favorite home I’ve photographed and this one has been on the list for over a decade: I actually shot it twice! A series of truly jaw-dropping volumes of space, one after another, with terraces everywhere, it’s exactly what I had in mind as a young artist who dreamed of a gargantuan Soho loft…and I’m clearly not alone. First images are the new photos, then when you see the white painted exterior with the clouds you’re back in time 11 years (those two outdoor shots, new and then old, were made from the same perspective).
