Wallet-Swiping Duo Arrested Following SCV Theft Spree 🚨 Two Los Angeles women, ages 28 and 34, are in custody after allegedly targeting at least five shoppers in the Santa Clarita Valley over the last couple of months. The suspects reportedly used a distraction tactic inside stores, with one woman engaging the victim while the other stole wallets from purses. The stolen credit cards were then quickly used for large purchases before the victims even realized their wallets were missing. The suspects are also believed to be connected to similar crimes throughout Southern California. On Tuesday, April 7, following an extensive investigation, Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s detectives, along with Special Assignment Team (SAT) deputies, traveled to Los Angeles, where they located and arrested both women who were transported back to SCV Sheriff’s Station jail for booking.
