Busta Rhymes on the bed with Kelly 8 April 1999 on The Big Breakfast and this is such a great throwback. Kelly Brook on the bed chatting to Busta Rhymes right when he was blowing up. He comes across so laid back here, saying he never tried to be different, just enjoying it and doing his thing. Then you hear him talk about the pressure once the budgets get big and suddenly everything matters more. I love the bit where he talks about his lyrics as well. He basically says he just tries to keep it real, whether it’s party tracks or more serious stuff, because people relate to the truth more than anything else. The story about Janet Jackson is mad too. She literally said his name on the radio as someone she wanted to work with and it all happened from there. That video ended up costing a fortune but you can see why.
