They say history repeats itself….. and that rings true. 1 year ago today, our guys were playing against Baie-Comeau in Round 1 of the playoffs. They were down 3-1 in the series, with game 5 being a crucial do-or-die game to keep the season going. If you were there, you know how historic that game was. Tied game after 3 periods (2-2), off to overtime we go & since 4 overtime periods didn’t solve anything, we headed to OT 5 (period #8) *after having 3 goals overtured in OT*. That first picture is what I still call my “1 in a million” shot. Fullerton comes down on the breakaway and seals the deal for the team. Best hockey game I’ve ever witnessed… and I’ve played in/watched alot of hockey. Then we have last night’s game. Same situation for the guys. Down 3-1 in the series.
