On Saturday, 11 April, US Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) struck two vessels ‘operated by Designated Terrorist Organisations’ in the Eastern Pacific, killing five people.⁣ ⁣ Aerial footage released Sunday captured the vessels exploding.⁣ ⁣ SOUTHCOM confirmed the ships were on narco-trafficking routes; two men died in the first strike, while three were killed in the second.
