Super Bowl Braised Leek Dip… bring it to your party… not kidding! SO SIMPLE- CRAZY GOOD..
Found another insane, yet simple recipe from one of our fave chefs cocolarkincooks from her “What French People Eat” series. We’ve been putting it on bagels, in sandwiches… It doesn’t even matter the flavor is so rich and so decadent I cannot recommend it enough! Ingredients
• 6-7 large leeks
• 6 tbsp butter, divided
• 6 anchovy fillets fishwife
• 1 tbsp tarragon leaves
• 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
• 2/3 cup dry white wine
• 1/2 cup heavy cream
• 2 tsp Maldon salt, divided
Method
1. Trim leeks, remove the first two outer layers, rinse well, and cut into 2-inch pieces.
2. Butter a cast-iron dish. Arrange leeks snugly, sprinkle with 1 tsp salt, and scatter tarragon over the top.
3. Melt most of the butter over medium heat. Add anchovies and thyme and cook until anchovies dissolve.
