The rumors are true, we're temporarily closing. But not quite yet! You can still visit the Getty Center until spring of next year. Starting March 15, 2027, the Getty Center will be closing to the public as we undertake our largest modernization efforts since our opening in 1997. As the Getty Center glows up, you will still be able to visit the Getty Villa Museum in Pacific Palisades.
