The intentional use of good fire plays an important role in land stewardship and reducing wildfire risks. One approach is cultural burning, a traditional indigenous practice that restores ecosystems and protects and enhances cultural and natural resources. The yak titiʸu titiʸu yak tithini (ytt) northernchumash Tribe collaborated with calfiresanluisobispo and sequoiariverlands to carry out a cultural burn across approximately 10 acres.
