This is #GoodFire at work in Inyo County. Through CAL FIRE’s Vegetation Management Program, firefighters with the (tag) CAL FIRE San Bernardino/Inyo/Mono Unit recently worked on a 1,400-acre fuel-reduction project near Independence. The reduced vegetation that could fuel wildfire, removed invasive plants, and restored wildlife habitat to help lower wildfire risk and protect nearby communities.
